Crystal Ball Reflection

Friends of Modern Body

We’re delighted to introduce Andrea Youngdahl and Rees Robinson, two compassionate facilitators dedicated to exploring the art of aging with grace and self-awareness. Together, they invite you to “Our Physical Selves: Changes, Challenges, Losses & Opportunities,” a four-week online workshop that gently reflects on our evolving relationships with our bodies. Through poetry, meditation, journaling, and heartfelt conversation, Andrea and Rees create a supportive space to honor both the challenges and wisdom that come with change.

This interactive workshop includes creative reflection, small-group sharing, and guided discussion designed to foster deeper connection to self and body. Hosted by Sage-ing International with participation limited to 12 for a more personal experience.

About the Facilitators

Andrea Youngdahl brings over forty years of experience in human services, including her role as Director of the City of Oakland’s Human Services Department, which provided vital support for aging and elder residents. She is an ordained and certified Spiritual Director through the Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley, CA, and has studied with the Center for Courage & Renewal. Living with disability and chronic illness since age eleven, Andrea views this lifelong experience as one of her greatest teachers.

Rees Robinson, CSL, left her engineering and project management career in 2015 to pursue her passion for facilitating processes that empower people as they age. She is a Certified Sage-ing Leader with Sage-ing International, a Speaking of Dying End-of-Life Planning Facilitator, and a Guided Autobiography Instructor. Rees has trained in interfaith spiritual direction through Atum O’Kane’s Spiritual Guidance Wisdom School and the Sacred Art of Living’s Anamcara Project.
